You Know You're a Kindergarten Teacher When...

  • You always have glue on your sleeves
  • Your pockets usually have school supplies and items taken away from kids
  • Your own children raise their hand when they want to speak to you at home
  • You say "get a tissue"- 20 times a day"
  • You can tie a shoe in less than 3 seconds
  • You can read a book upside down
  • You bring a snack to eat at snack time
  • You get excited for the Back-to-School supply sales
  • You love to laminate
  • You prefer sitting on the floor criss-cross-applesauce

The reading-upside-down-skill is imperative!!! Sometimes, I'll have this split second thought when I'm finished and think, "Did I really just read that WHOLE book upside down?!" Teachers are *magic* I tell ya!
