Back to Reality

This Thanksgiving vacation week has flown by.  I know it is only Friday, but it is time to start thinking about next week already.  The next three weeks will be BUSY!!! We have the Elf coming to visit, then a bunch of gingerbread activities and a school wide Polar Express day that I'm planning.  Oh and I need to finish my report cards, print and stuff them all by Monday too.

All of this could explain why I'm still in my pajamas on a Friday afternoon. I'm starting to feel like I'm one of Santa's little helpers.  I've been working a few late nights to get a my December Writing Center posted and finish up a Sight Word Work product that has been a long time in the making.  You can see them below

I'm still full from yesterday's dinner. My husband deep fried our turkey.  I don't even like turkey and this bird was good!!! It may not look that appetizing, but it is by far the best turkey I've ever had.

After dinner, my daughter and I ventured out for some shopping.  I've had my eye on this for a while, but knew to wait until now.  I snagged a few other gifts for the family as well.

Time to start laminating, cutting and make a cup of tea.
I hope you all enjoyed your time with your family and friends.

A Polar Express Day by the whole school? Sounds like super duper fun! We're having a Polar Express Day too but just Pre-K and Kindergarten. And why oh why are the few weeks before Christmas always so hectic!? Best wishes with all you have to do. :-)
