If You Give a Teacher an iPhone

I'm not sure how this all started.  I usually just give my kids a book at the end of the year.  This year however I think I can blame this on my iPhone.

If you give a teacher an iPhone she will want to take thousands of photos of her cute kindergarten class..  When she starts transferring the photos to her iMac she will want to make a movie for Open House.

While making the movie she will want to listen to iTunes and then she will want to add some music to her movie.

After Open House she will take more photos and add them to the movie she already made.  While making the new movie, the teacher will want to make 24 copies of the DVD- one for each of her students.

While burning the DVD's she realizes she needs to buy DVD Sleeves to protect them. So, she will ask her husband to take her to Walmart.  Once she is at Walmart, she forgets about the DVD sleeves and buys jewel cases instead.

When she gets home, she sees how ugly the jewel cases look and will want to create a fancy cover.
After creating the fancy cover, she will decide that each students' name should appear on the cover as well. Once the personalized covers are made, she will want to create a sticker to be placed on the DVD in case it gets lost.

While creating the sticker, the teacher decides to personalize it too.  Once all 24 personalized kindergarten DVD's are made, the teacher uses her iPhone to take a few pictures.  And chances are if she takes a few pictures she will want to write a blog post all about it.

I love the label that you put on the front of each case. How did you make them? I'm doing a video too and would love to make a cover for each of my cases as well. Thanks for the cute idea!

Lindsey,I made the label in PowerPoint. I made a square shape of 4.75" then filled it with the alphabet paper. I then added the scallop frame. I placed a text box inside the scallop frame. I used all Kimberly Gershwin fonts.
